2 new courses starting in March

Upcoming Courses
Overcoming Childhood Trauma and PTSD 10 week course starts March 5th $160/$130 conc

In May of 2014 I attended a specialty course in Bendigo called “Supporting People with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder through Kundalini Yoga.”  It was a four day training put together by DR Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa who is the founder and director of The Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology with the intention of training teachers to implement a specific eight (now ten) week curriculum in various populations with PTSD.  The kriyas, or yoga sets, were chosen to restore internal rhythmic balance, increase vitality, improve sleep, and work with the psoas muscle where trauma is believed to be held in the body.   These kriyas and meditations work for trauma survivors regardless of the source of trauma.  The program is effective for both simple and complex trauma.  Clinical diagnosis is not a pre-requisite for participation. Although you will be required to complete a registration process

A formal research study has been conducted on the effectiveness of this curriculum and you can read the results of the findings here.

Recovery Health programme
6 week course starts Monday March 9th $95/$75 conc
Evidence based yoga, meditation and relaxation classes for people recovering from health conditions and managing chronic illness :

  • Cancer
  • Immune system disorders
  • Viral conditions (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Hepatitis C),
  • Anxiety and Depression.
The classes are held in specific series to better serve the needs of individuals within a closed group setting and to create a sense of continuity and community. By committing to a series you not only obtain full benefit from the practices, but also prioritise your own healing process.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I am halfway through the Kundalini for Beginners course and LOVE it!! Jaye is a wonderful teacher, and the course has been great for completely letting go of ego, appreciating and focusing on the breath and deep relaxation. I love the gongs during relaxation. Completely different to other yoga classes/courses and compliments other forms of yoga perfectly
